MLK Day School’s Out Playgroup Monday January 19, 2026 | 10:00AM-11:00AM This Pop-Up Play session for children ages 3–6, hosted by Tiny Tots Big Senses and Playworks Education, brings together our shared mission of supporting whole-child development through meaningful, play-based experiences. By combining Tiny Tots Big Senses’ focus on supporting sensory processing and motor skill development through play with Playworks Education’s emphasis on imagination, problem-solving, and creative collaboration, this session offers rich opportunities for sensory exploration, pretend play, and open-ended creating. Children will engage with a curated selection of materials and toys from Kodo Kids, Bella Luna, Sarah’s Silks, Solobo Toys, Hugimals, along with a hands-on sensory experiences. Caregivers are welcome to read, chat, or observe while remaining present and ensuring their child and others are safe. This session is not drop-off, but is designed to feel like a relaxed, inclusive community play date that nurtures confidence, independence, and creativity. Led by pediatric occupational therapist, Liz Kidney, OTR/L and early childhood educator, Lauren Prybeck, M.S.Ed. Children will enjoy a variety of hands-on stations featuring sensory materials, loose-parts exploration, and opportunities for social play in a warm, welcoming environment. Pricing: $30 per child $25 per sibling Siblings under 2 attend free (Please note: the group is designed with ages 3–6 in mind.
